Targeted RNA analysis (RNA-seq) in solid tumours: a key tool in diagnostic dead-end situations
Targeted RNA analysis significantly improves the detection of fusion transcripts and large deletions, with major impact on diagnosis and access to targeted therapies. In some tumors, it can confirm or revise the diagnosis in 30 to 60% of cases. Starting May 2026, seven dedicated RNA panels will be available in our laboratory for more comprehensive profiling.
