Clinic significance
The active ingredient is acebutolol, a cardioselective beta-blocker with intrinsic sympathomimetic activity (ISA), acts preferentially on beta1-cardiac receptors. This selectivity is not absolute. May cause asthma attacks at high doses. The presence of a sympathomimetic activity reduces the broncho- or vasoconstrictive effect and metabolic disturbances.
