Clinical significance

La recherche de BMR (bactérie multirésistante) [BLSE, SARM] ou de BHRe (bactérie hautement résistante et émergente) [EPC, ERV] peut être effectuée chez les patients de service à risque adulte ou pédiatrique type réanimation, chez les patients rapatriés sanitaires ou au contact d'un patient BMR/BHRe. Ces recherches sont réalisées sur des milieux de culture spécifiques. Selon les résultats de la culture, une identification des colonies isolées peut être réalisée ainsi qu'un antibiogramme.
