Sample to be frozen within 1 hour. Home sampling is not advisable.
Specify the Pradaxa daily dose, the drug intake and sample time
The sampling has to be made at residual time ( just before drug intake) or during the activity peak (2 hours after drug intake). In case of overdose and treatment by antidote ( PRAXBIND), the dabigatran level could be performed to level the circulating residual concentration. The balance state is obtained after 3 day of treatment
It is advisable to send us a frozen and centrifuged citrate sample in compliance with the GFHT pre-analytical recommendations.
