Clinic significance

Orgaran is used as a bridging antithrombotic in cases of HIT (heparin-immunoallergic thrombopoenia); samples are to be taken at the midpoint between 2 injections.

• ALWAYS specify the current anticoagulant treatment (dosage) and the injection and sampling times
• The samples should be collected at the mid-point between two injections.
• It is advisable to send us a frozen and centrifuged citrate sample in compliance with the GFHT pre-analytical recommendations.
• Sample to be frozen within 1 hour. Home sampling is not advisable.
• Enclose the specific clinical information form (R5-INTGB : Haemostasis)
