Clinical significance

Endometriosis affects nearly 10% of women. It evolves on an inflammatory terrain. The patient's pain and subfertility are correlated with the extent of inflammation. Thus, anti-inflammatory treatments can relieve the symptoms, but will in no way solve the origin of the patient's inflammation. Endometriotic cells grow under the influence of estrogen, while progesterone slows down their development. Thus, any imbalance in the estroprogene will promote the development of the disease. The contraceptive pill or artificial menopause are often offered as a solution. Far from being functional, these therapeutic proposals cause many side effects and do not solve the deep problems at the origin of endometriosis. The MyEndoCheck panel explores the different biological abnormalities potentially accompanying endometriosis or, more broadly, a picture of painful periods and/or POS
